Born and Bred in Cornwall ...

The MP for Hertford and Stortford is very proud of his Cornish roots - (even though he hasn't lived there for twenty odd years). But, if he is so committed to the county, one has to wonder why he has never stood for election there?

In fact Mark Prisk has seemed happy to stand anywhere but - he has stood for parliament in three places other than Cornwall - Newham North West (1992) and Wansdyke (1997) and then Hertford and Stortford (2001).

Keeping his constituents up to date on his parliamentary activity ... except any mention of the recent use of his EDM ... yep, used in November for Cornwall!

MP for Hertford and Stortford in the wrong ....

... trousers and wrong part of the country! Blimey Wallace and Gromit, won't you guide the MP for Hertford and Stortford back to the people who voted for him?

... and still fails to mention his Cornwall job any where on it! Hush! Don't tell anyone.

MP for Hertford and Stortford's Cornwall job is imaginary

Without a Minister for Cornwall appointed by Labour, there is no actual Minister to shadow, therefore making Mark Prisks absence from his own constituency to be "Shadow Minister for Cornwall" an absolute waste of time and a distraction from the people who he really represents.

Residents in Hertford and Stortford have an MP who's loyalties currently lie in a county where nobody has ever given him their vote.

Working for those who didn't vote for him

The MP for Hertford and Stortford in Cornwall just eight days ago

"I am trying to get down to the county [Cornwall] every few weeks and my role is to listen to people and find out what their concerns are"

Mark has plenty to say about Cornwall ...

... but not to his own constituents!

No mention of his new job on his constituency website. I wonder why Mark Prisk, the MP for Hertford and Stortford hasn't mentioned his Cornish job to his own constituents?
